I remember years ago when I was working as the Design Intern at House & Home Magazine, Editor-in-Chief, Suzanne Dimma had me running all over Toronto on the hunt for white pumpkins - or baby boo gourds, as the smaller ones are called. When I finally did find some, it wasn't enough needed for the photo shoot, so I continued my trek...hitting up every grocer, flower shop and even convenience store from east to west and back again. Who knew that these pretty things could be so stressful! Thinking back, that must have been far before they became as popular as they are now. Now, they seem to be everywhere - magazines, on design boards (Pinterest and the like) and maybe even in your own home.
...or you can keep it simple when it comes to adding them to your fall decor. Sometimes having one or two sitting on their own can be all you need to make the perfect statement. | There are so many options when it comes to displaying these perfect, neutral little guys. Why not try making them fancy by adding sparkles like Emily did over at Yesterday's Sweetheart... |
For my Canadian friends who are celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend,
try using this look along your tablescape or on your mantle - it makes for the perfect touch!
Whatever way you choose to display these little beauties,
I hope that I have you feeling inspired!
